The "Jericho" Militia--Ready to Fight

In my last post I lamented the cancellation of "Jericho" by the morons running CBS. Yes, morons--low ratings didn't hurt this show, the suits at The Eye did.

"Jericho" began the season a moderate hit-and was given a full season order by the network. Then they put it on a midseason hiatus so they could air "Armed and Famous" -remember that one, it was the bit of stupidity about grade z stars on a police force. The show came back finishing second to that sin against music "American Idol" but with fewer viewers--and it was cancelled last week. Note, it still beat out the following show's season ratings -and all are returning---
Family Guy
The Simpsons
All three "Law and Orders"-remember my beloved Mothership finished 20 places behind "Jericho" and it will be back
The Unit (CBS)
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS)

The head of the network programming then told the viewers that it was their tough luck if a serialized show was cancelled without tying up the loose ends!!

The fans were pissed and decided to make a stand--we have hit the message boards (and for the first time in my life, myself included) sending out the message to get the show back on or moved to a network like TNT or SciFi---and guess what--IT'S WORKING!!!! The Kansas affiliate even posted on its website where to call, write or email.

Oh, and the flag pictured? It's the new US flag shown in the season finale.

On the CBS "Jericho" wiki the president of programming said that they were taking note of the fan disappointment and looking into ways to provide closure for the story.

Not good enough!!! We want our show back!!!
