Hearts, Flowers, Radio Ads, and Dogs

The alarm went off at 6 this morning-had on newsradio to see if the kids were getting a second snow day (they weren't) when the following ad was heard-

(paraphrasing) Having a bad Valentine's Day? Why go on with this marriage-if you can even call it that? You can be divorced in as little as 10 days if it is uncontested. 45 days if it is!

Gee, these Hallmark holidays have gotten a little cold. What's next -alcoholism treatment ads on St. Patrick's Day?

Yes, some of us can't be with the ones we love today-or choose not to love the one we are with. That's why God let us invent high grade chocolate.

So, to those who are celebrating have a wonderful, passion filled day. To the rest of us-you are officially excused from your diets.

On to other matters- I promise to post a pic of Cocoa when I have access to the main family computer (some people never leave the den). Cocoa did not watch the Dog Show-she seems insulted that we would even want to look at other dogs. Bummed that the PBGV lost- the Spaniel is gorgeous but I love the fluppy dogs most.
